We’re so glad you’re considering joining us. Below are answers to the most common questions new guests have when visiting for the first time. If you have any additional questions, feel free to reach out—we’d love to help!
What is it like?
Our worship service is a blend of traditional and contemporary styles, creating a meaningful and uplifting experience for all ages. You’ll find friendly faces, heartfelt worship, and practical messages rooted in God’s Word. Our goal is to help you grow closer to Jesus and feel right at home from the moment you walk in.
What about my kids?
We love kids at FBC!
Children’s Ministry is offered during worship and provides a fun, faith-filled environment with age-appropriate lessons and activities.
Nursery care is available for our littlest ones.
During the school year, we also offer Wednesday night children’s programs, seasonal activities, and special events like VBS and our Christmas program.
Your children will be welcomed, safe, and cared for by loving volunteers and teachers.
Where do I park?
Parking is available around the church; in the lot off 9th Street and street parking on Market Street. If it’s your first time visiting, you can enter through the 9th Street entrance or the Market Street entrance.
What do I wear?
Come as you are! You’ll see everything from jeans and comfortable outfits to business-casual attire. Wear whatever makes you feel ready to worship. Our church family cares far more about you than what you’re wearing.
How can I get connected?
We would love to get to know you! Here are a few easy ways to plug in:
Join us for worship on Sunday mornings.
Stay for fellowship events, meals, and Bible studies offered throughout the year.
Attend a small group or Sunday School class—there’s something for all ages.
Reach out to the church office or fill out a Connection Card so we can help you find the right groups and opportunities.
Serve with us in local and global missions, outreach events, and ministry teams.
At First Baptist Church, you’ll find community, support, and many ways to grow in your faith.
