Men’s Clothing Closet (Tuesdays 10:30 am - Noon)
Our Men’s Clothing Closet is a growing outreach ministry dedicated to supporting men in our community who are in need of clothing—whether for everyday use, cold weather, employment, or special occasions. This ministry provides dignity, warmth, and comfort by offering gently used and new items at no cost.
The closet includes everything from basic necessities to coats, jeans, hoodies, workwear, dress shirts, and even suits from local men’s shops. As word of this ministry spreads, more men are finding the help they need, and we are grateful to serve them with compassion and kindness.
How the Ministry Serves
The clothing closet is open to men in the community through church connections, outreach events, and referrals. Volunteers help by sorting donations, restocking items, greeting visitors, and making each person feel welcome and respected.
Get Involved
There are several ways to support the Men’s Clothing Closet:
-
Donate Items — New or gently used jackets, sweaters, sweatshirts, hoodies, jeans, long-sleeve shirts, shoes, gloves, hats, casual wear, and toiletries (especially travel-size).
-
Volunteer — Help sort clothing, organize displays, or assist during distribution times.
-
Spread the Word — Let friends, neighbors, and coworkers know this resource is available to anyone in need.
Why It Matters
This ministry meets a very real and growing need. Through grants such as Sisters of St. Joseph and Neptune, along with donations from our church family, we can stock essential items—but replenishing the closet requires ongoing support. Every donation directly impacts someone’s daily life.
If you would like to get involved, donate items, or learn more, please contact the church office or speak with Jane or Pastor Judi. Together, we can continue to be the hands and feet of Christ to the men in our community.
