Children’s Ministries ( Pre-K - 5th Grade)
Our Children’s Ministry provides a joyful, Christ-centered environment where kids can learn about God’s love, explore the Bible, and build meaningful friendships. Each gathering is designed to help children grow in their faith while feeling safe, valued, and excited to learn about Jesus.
Sunday Morning Children’s Bible Study - 9:30 am
Each Sunday morning, children participate in an engaging Bible study led by Jane. Through storytelling, activities, and age-appropriate conversation, kids learn how Scripture applies to their lives and how much God loves them.
Wednesday Evening Children’s Ministry - 6 pm
On Wednesday nights, children begin the evening by joining the adults for Prayer & Praise at 5:45 p.m. This shared time encourages kids to express their joys, concerns, and gratitude—helping them learn the importance of worship and prayer within the church family.
After Prayer & Praise, children move into their own Bible study time, which includes:
-
Bible Stories presented in ways kids can understand and enjoy
-
Crafts that reinforce the week’s lesson
-
Music that teaches biblical truths through song
-
Games & Activities that build friendships and make learning fun
Special Opportunities Throughout the Year
Children also have opportunities to participate in WVBC events at Parchment Valley and Camp Cowen, which provide meaningful faith experiences, fellowship with kids from other churches, and fun-filled retreats and activities.
Get Involved
Children are welcome to join us. Parents, grandparents, and guardians are encouraged to bring their kids and be part of this important time of spiritual growth.
We are always grateful for volunteers who love working with children. If you feel called to help with lessons, crafts, music, or simply encouraging young hearts, we would love to talk with you.
For more information or questions, please reach out to Jane, Ammie, or Pastor Judi. We look forward to growing in faith and fun together with your children!
